Mary Ann Owen is a boxing photojournalist based out of Las Vegas. She's covered hundreds of fights and has shot all the big names in professional boxing. Her photos and writing have appeared on countless websites and in numerous newspapers, periodicals and magazines, including Ring Magazine, KO Magazine, Primer Round 1, Ring Ukraine, RingSports, Boxing Flash, Chicago Boxing, Boxing World, Boxing Digest, LadySports and LadyBoxer Magazine. She has also been the personal photographer for some of the sports big names, including Diego "Chico" Corrales (RIP), Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, "Bones" Adams, Wayne McCullough, David Tua, Butterbean and Christy Martin. She also shoots for a worldwide wire service. She also is an official photographer for the WBC (World Boxing Council), IBA (International Boxing Association) and many of the boxing promoters including Gary Shaw Productions, Rock and Sock promotions, Duva, Cedric Kushner.

"Extraordinary Women of The Ring", written by veteran ring side photographer Mary Ann Lurie Owen has finally been published

Mary Ann began her ringside career in 1998, shooting "Satin Storm," a televised all women's fight card for the magazine "Lady Boxer".   During her 13 year career, Mary Ann's photos have been seen by boxing and sports fans throughout the world via the Internet, in magazines and newspapers.

With "Extraordinary Women of The Ring"  Mary Ann celebrates the thrilling and compelling sport of women's boxing with her dynamic photographs which depict the power, beauty and determination of female fighters.
